I am an ocean loving, food obsessed, bookstore rummaging, random movie quoting creative working on improving the human experience through design, conversation and action.

As someone who has had the incredible privilege of growing up in two different countries, that experience has influenced the way I analyze and live life in every imaginable way. I spent my early childhood in  New Jersey and then moved to India and made Bangalore my home until I graduated high school with a keen interest in design, mechanics and psychology. I've always believed that change, drive and a somewhat forceful curiosity help you go after the experiences you want from life, and so I set forth. I moved to Cincinnati to study industrial  design at the esteemed College of DAAP at the University of Cincinnati. Over the last few years, I have had the opportunity to learn, grow and go out into the world accumulating expertise and immersing my self in our ever-changing landscape of culture and innovation. I have lived, worked, and studied in New York City, Los Angeles, London and Santa Clara and it has been an amazing time. In fact, I can give you a pretty solid list of food recommendations for any of these locations.

In living in these cities, experiencing their culture, becoming one of their people and starting again nearly every three months, I've had a fairly fast-paced education on the way the world works. The best part of this experience has definitely been investing into these places, their communities and making them my home. My travel and life experiences have helped me define what I believe we should all be fighting for as humans (civil rights, equality, inclusive and affordable healthcare, and sustainability) and how to embrace whatever the world brings your way. If you're out to change the world, you will face obstacles, but that's the good fight right? Overcoming them.

My Design Philosophy

EMPATHY

Care about the problem and care about the people this problem affects. Genuine interest and empathy create significantly more considered and meaningful design for everyone involved.

FULFILLMENT

Humans are empowered by fulfillment, it's what we chase in the way we live, what we purchase and the experiences we fight to afford. Designing to fulfill is my foremost creative principle.

SUSTAINABILITY

We all have a responsibility to our planet. Innovating and redesigning systems and products to push forward the circular design movement is a matter of passion for me. Ethical consumption and consumerism is a necessity.

As creatives, designers and artists, we hold a power to promote change, to introduce the world to better ways of living and consuming. It is a challenging responsibility but a responsibility I take very seriously. I hope to educate, empower, and entertain through everything I create.
